Goff Refrigeration Co.™ Inc. adheres to a strict and stringent code of professional ethics and personal integrity in all of our dealings. All GRC, Inc. employees are specifically trained in their respective areas of specialization and are required to acquire a minimum of 40 hours ongoing training annually. Goff Refrigeration also adheres to industry established Best Practices Standards – including ENERGY STAR Quality Installation Guideline Requirements.

 

 

 

 

 

GRC™, Inc. History

The Goff™ Refrigeration Co. Inc. was founded in 1953 by Harold E. Goff with just $200.00 in start-up capital. The Company was originally located at 1105 R Street, where it remained until 1977 – when it moved to it’s current location of 1018 16th Street.

Harold Goff’s primary business focus was limited to retail food refrigeration equipment sales and service. Several years later the Company expanded it’s sales and service portfolio to include residential, commercial, industrial, restaurant and institutional heating, cooling and refrigeration and ice production equipment.

In 1975 Goff Refrigeration Co. Inc. was purchased by Edward Koch. Mr. Koch operated the business from 1975 until 2000, where it grew to one of the largest mechanical contractors in the State of Indiana with 21 employees. Serving most of southern Indiana.

In 2000 the Company was sold to Steven Clouse who operated the Company until his death in 2008. In 2008 Mr. Clouse’s children assumed ownership of the Company and manage it with a very hands off approach – allowing the organization to be employee operated.

Goff Refrigeration Co. Inc. has a deep respect for it’s industry as well as it’s own Legacy. Continuing to provide premium quality service and equipment options for approximately a 9 County region in Southern Indiana. Goff Refrigeration Co. Inc. also provides leasing, sales and service of ice production equipment to the hospitality and food industries.
